How It Works

Getting a spring lease

  1. See what's open

    Browse current open spots and rents in Open units above.

  2. Reach out

    Hit Inquire on a unit, or fill out the inquiry form, and our leasing team will confirm it's the right fit.

  3. Apply and sign

    Your lease runs January 1 to July 19, 2027, typically at the same per-bedroom rate as our standard lease.

  4. Move in

    Pick up your keys and move into a fully furnished apartment for the spring semester.

  5. Stay for fall, if you'd like

    Spring residents can renew for the fall 2027 leasing season.

What's Included

Everything a full-year resident gets

Fully furnished

Every apartment comes furnished, with a 65-inch TV, a full-size washer and dryer and stainless steel appliances.

Your own bathroom

Every bedroom has a private bathroom, and every apartment has a private balcony or patio.

Internet, water and sewer

Rent includes gig fiber internet, water and sewer. Electricity is the only bill.

Exclusive access to The Cove

The Cove at BearX and its pool, a dock on the lake next door, eight community parks and 13+ miles of trails.

On the bus route

Routes 34 (Fish Camp) and 41 (Good Bull) stop in The Cove parking lot, 2.8 miles from campus.

A secure building

Controlled access, elevators, a fitness center, study rooms and Parcel Pending package lockers.

Common questions

Can I sign a lease for just the spring semester?
Yes. Spring leases at The Harbor run from January 1 to July 19, 2027. You sign directly with The Harbor, so it's a real lease, not a sublease from another student.
When does a spring lease start and end?
Spring leases start January 1, 2027 and end July 19, 2027. If you need to move in before January, ask our leasing team about immediate move-ins.
How much is rent on a spring lease?
Spring rent is typically the same per-bedroom rate as our standard lease. Prices vary from unit to unit, and current specials apply to spring leases too. Current open spots and rents are listed in Open units on this page.
Is a spring lease an individual lease?
Yes. Every bedroom at The Harbor has its own individual lease, so you're only responsible for your own rent, and roommate matching is available.
Can I stay at The Harbor for the 2027–28 school year?
Yes. Spring residents can renew their lease for the fall 2027 leasing season, so you can stay put instead of moving again in August.
Are spring lease apartments furnished?
Yes. Every apartment at The Harbor is fully furnished, including a 65-inch TV and a full-size washer and dryer, so you don't need to buy furniture for one semester.
Can I take the bus to campus?
Yes. The Harbor is 2.8 miles from Texas A&M, inside The Barracks neighborhood and right on the Texas A&M bus route. Routes 34 (Fish Camp) and 41 (Good Bull) stop in The Cove parking lot.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome at The Harbor.
