Rent includes gig fiber internet, water and sewer. Electricity is the only bill.

How Leasing Works

What happens next

If this is your first time signing a lease, it can feel like a lot. Here's exactly what to expect.

  1. Apply online

    It only takes a few minutes to start your application. Call us if you want to walk through it together.

  2. We'll review

    We review your credit, payment history and background, which usually takes about 24 hours. A community specialist will contact you within one business day by phone or text.

  3. Complete pet screening

    Everyone fills this out, even if you don't have a pet. No pet? Just select "No Pet."

  4. Sign your lease

    Your lease arrives by email, and you'll have 72 hours to sign it. Your guarantor gets a separate email to sign theirs online.

Common questions

Do I have to tour before I apply?
No. Many residents apply online without ever coming in. If you'd like to see an apartment first, schedule a tour and we'll show you around.
Can I get exact pricing before I apply?
Yes. Fill out the form on this page, call (979) 810-0244 or stop by the leasing office, and we'll let you know which floor plans are open and what they cost.
How long does the application take?
Applying online only takes a few minutes. A community specialist will reach out within one business day, and processing usually takes about 24 hours.
What do you review on my application?
We review your credit score, payment history and any accounts in collections, and we run a background check.
What if I don't have a credit history?
If you don't have a credit history, Experian may not be able to verify your Social Security Number. If that happens, we'll confirm it manually. You can stop by our office with your Social Security card, or securely upload a photo of it through our messaging system.
Do I need to complete pet screening if I don't have a pet?
Yes. Everyone completes PetScreening. If you don't have a pet, just select "No Pet." If you do, fill out a profile for them. If you have an emotional support animal, submit your ESA documents through PetScreening, and once they're approved, your animal will be labeled as a support animal.
How long do I have to sign my lease?
Your lease arrives by email, and you'll have 72 hours to sign it. After that, it expires.
Does my guarantor need to sign anything?
Yes. Your guarantor, usually a parent or guardian, gets a separate email with their own agreement to sign online.
Are apartments at The Harbor furnished?
Yes. Every apartment at The Harbor comes fully furnished.
Are pets allowed at The Harbor?
Yes. Pets are welcome at The Harbor.
